YOU DON’T TAKE A PHOTOGRAPH, YOU CREATE IT
Creating is a process. Some can see it immediately, others study and observe, other move into the moment. It’s different for each of us. What I have learned that made the most difference in my process is to be able to anticipate a moment just before it happens. That timing can be all over the place from seconds to months. However, once you have that vision locked in you have to be prepared to turn it into something you can share without words. That something that people can look at and feel an emotion. When that happens it’s magic. Seeing a person’s reaction is priceless and that’s what drives me.
